About John
John is a licensed residential and commercial general contractor based out of Hendersonville, TN. He is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and has been building homes and providing other general contracting work since he founded John Henry Design in 2015. John’s commitment and attention to the details helps him complete every project with craftsmanship and exceptional personal service. He serves the Middle Tennessee area is ready to take on any project within the new construction, residential or commercial market. John has worked alongside his father, Tony Allers, in the construction business since he was a young kid and continues to do so even now with his father on staff. Tony is a retired codes official and helps speed along projects with his years of knowledge in the industry.

Tony has been with John Henry design since conception in 2015. With over 40 years of residential and commercial experience Tony has served his community retiring from Gallatin city as the director of codes and city planning and is a huge asset to the team. -
Jimmy Philippi
Has joined the team since 2015 and is a civil engineer assisting in day to day operations as well CAD design. With over 20 years experience in estimating hospital/hotel and multi family projects, Jimmy is an valuable asset to this team. -
Kelly Hawkins
Has joined the team recently as our accounts payable and receivable as well as day to day operations manager. Kelly has over 25 years of experience in ar/ap operations and is a tremendous asset to our team.
